Computer freezes up

Have a user with XP system decent specs 2GB RAM etc. Once a day it freezes at no particular moment and the user can’t even get to Task Manager. Doesn’t appear to be any driver issues and performance monitor doesn’t show anything out of ordinary.

Any last minute suggestions before I just redo his XP OS installation?
