config pop3 &Smtp clients behind proxy

HI
i am shyam network admin . i havea problem for configuring smtp and pop3 clients behind proxy server2.0.i am using outlook2000 as mail client
my pop3 server adress is mail.xxx.com and smtp adress is smtp.xxx.com.
i am able to connect directlybut not behind proxy server2.0
