Connect Linux to Windows XP using Linux as Virtual using Vmware

Hello Everyone
This is my first post on the

here.Well I’m looking for a desperate answer
to
the following question.

I’m using Windows XP SP2 and has installed
vmware windows version.
I have installed Red Hat Linux Enterprise
Edition 5 on the VMware.Everything is fine
but
I’m having a
problem accessing the files on the Windows OS
in the Linux OS.

I don’t know but i am unable to configure the
samba sharing properly.

Please help me with appropiate solution on
how
to access XP from Linux and vice versa.
