Connect Windows XP to WPA-Enterprise Wireless network (AES)

by arnoldo.marquez . Updated 15 years, 8 months ago

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I have set up a WPA-Enterprise network and I am able to authenticate with Apple devices (Mac/iPhone) using AD credentials, and I can also authenticate using Intel PROSet/Wireless client that came installed on a Dell laptop. However, other laptops may not have that wireless client and rely on windows XP wireless client to manage their network connections. I am not able to connect using Windows XP alone. I have played around with settings and fail to connect. The error I get is Authentication Failed – however I am logged on to that computer as a user that has access to the security group and that using those credentials is able to log on using an iPhone or the Intel client. Any help/ideas/suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
