Con’t connect to new zone, error says can’t find DC

We’ve created a new AD zone within our existing DNS, We’ve built a new DC for the new zone and DC promo’d it and installed AD. But we can’t join any machines to the new zone and the error says can’t find the DC for the zone, yet we can nslookup the DC and its fully resolved and pingable.

Any idea’s what we’ve missed?
