Converting from IE to Firefox using AD and Group Policy

Hi, I am new to Firefox, so, please excuse my ignorance.

I’m working in a win2000 environment and am used to making use of AD&GP when it come to managing IE.

I would like to be able to manage Firefox with Active Directory and Group Policy as well.

Is this possible?
If so, are there any recommendations?
