Creating Envelopes in Word 2003 with Outlook 2003 Contact list

I have a user that wants to create envelopes in Word 2003, using Envelopes and Labels options not Mail Merge. If she uses the address from a Global item in the address book, it prints, Last Name, First initial. If she picks a person from the Personal contact list, (which displays Last name first) it inserts it first name last name. Is there a way to keep it the way it displays?
