Creating Pivot Table

I am designing a pivot table from 2 Tables which contains fields which are different but constitute a record for a particular case. The challenge is that total number of fields exceed 256 thus making it impossible to merge the two tables and make sit
in a single excel sheet. With this problem how can
l make a pivot table from two sheets such that all the fields will appear in the pivot table field list
