I have a situation where when certain NT users try to save a document to their home directory on the network, literally thousands of empty .tmp files are created. Has occurred in various applications including Word and AutoCad. After initiating the save, user is told that the file already exists and is asked if they want to replace it. When they respond Yes, the .tmp file creation starts.
Anyone ever run into this? How did you resolve? Have made sure that any AutoSaves go to the local harddrive and not to the home directory on the network, but that had no effect.
