Crystal Report 8

I am developing a Sales related software using Seagate Crystal Report 8. Some records do not require all the fields. I suppress those fields(ie, making the labels invisible) using Formula Editor. In doing so, some extra spaces are created between two fields for that particular records. How do I suppress that extra spaces?
