I’m new to Crystal Reports, and don’t have any other IT staff to ask, about it.
Due to a management directive, I cannot give users in our Warehouse access to Excel.
To get around this, and allow them to view information in an, automatically generated, Excel spreadsheet, I have written a small Crystal Report, that reads in the spreadsheet, then outputs it to a Crystal Report, (looks better).
The problem that I am having, is that when I run this report, via Crystal Reports XI, everything works fine, however, when it is run via our ‘in-house’ report viewer, (written before I started), it shows the report, from the date the report was run, (old data, that is no longer in the spreadsheet). Pressing refresh casuses it to work correctly.
Any ideas how I can prevent the users having to press refresh?
