cut n paste question

this is really just something im curious about, anyone notice in office2k and win2k that they either have to hit ctrl-c, mutlitask out and then back, hit it again, and then hit ctrl-v, or, right click and select copy? any thoughts on why this is? oreven a possible solution? it appears to be a mutli machine glitch – kinda like a couple machines i got that always revert to the french ditionary in word2k…
