Data Center Failover Testing

We are in the final stages of implementing a fully redundant data center at a secondary office. Our primary DC is in Florida and we obviously need to test our failover to the secondary DC and then restoring the primary DC once feasible. This is my first data center implementation and I’m looking for some test script samples and/or templates for this situation. Anyone aware of any?
