database connectivity for mysql and perl on suse linux 9.0

i am trying to connect mysql database through perl as front end in suse linux enterprise 9.0
but getting the error “can’t find dbd/odbc.pm in @INC”
if anyone has any knowledge about this plz tell me. i need to finish the assignment by friday 29-6-07.
