Database Development Checklist

Hello All,

I’ve been creating databases (mainly small ones) and my company is now wanting to embark on a larger project. The main thing that I’m looking for is a simple development checklist. The reason I ask is that the company has been burned on projects like this before and while I know the steps that I need to create a database, they are looking for some “official” checklist. If you have any links that would be create. I tried Google but it was quite varied and nothing really fit.
