DB Downgrade from SQL 2000 to SQL v7.0

I just recently upgraded my SQL v7.0 to SQL 2000. For 2 months, everything seems to be alright on the restoration side and databases users accesses. However, I was instructed to install back and return the database from SQL 2000 to SQL v7.0. Problemis will this work and how? What will be the best way to do this.Please help.
