DDE Server Window

Using Outlook 2000, this morning while trying to FORWARD a message, Outlook locked up. Had to Cntrl – ALt – Delete to shut down. Then I got the error message indicating “DDE Server Window not responding”. How do I correct this? It has made my Outlook totally useless. Thanks for your help.
