Debian vs. Red Hat

Hello everybody,

I would like to have your opinions concerning Debian compared to Red Hat.
The Linux box(es) will run Samba, Netatalk, an FTP server, a DHCP server, Apache, VNC server, ….
How do these two distros compare as far as the following are concerned:
– installation
– availability of drivers
– stability
– availability of binary packages (rpm vs. apt)
– availability of updates
– how updates are actually carried out
– any other aspects
?

Not to ignore the fact that Red Hat are concentrating on their commercial products and Fedora will be more of a beta OS.
