Defragmenting NT Server & Workstations

I have 3 year’s old NT4 9GB compaq server, it has been reported by the clients that is running slower than before. I have never defrag the disk. What is the best program for defragmenting NT today. How many times and how frequently it has to be defragmented. + Does the NT4 Workstations has to be defrag too?
