Degrading a PDC

We recently got a Server in our organisation and when the installations were done on it, it was installed as a PDC. The problem is we already have an existing PDC. The two PDC always are having conflicts and we would like to resolve this. My question is, how can we degrade the new PDC to a BDC without having to go through the whole installation process again. Is there another way out of this?
