There is a hot answer i would like to get my eyes on .
In my home land we have local Unviversities which do award traditional degree courses in particular Bachelor of IT.
The the students who graduate from these versities unfortunately come out with little or no skill .Yet when you look at their syllabus u see the same things as in say mcse ,A+,cisco …..
I also have friends who attended Aptech and did proffesional IT certications and today they are doing good .
My question is how good is a Degree say in Bcs/IT compared to a proffessional certification like MCSE,LPI and CCIE,CIW among others .
Please help am in a dilemma with one of my sponsors who sees certifications as something related to failures !!!
So which is which .What are the advantages of a certication vs a Degree.
