Deleting Files from Windows

I constantly have to delete large number of
files in selected directories, sometime
thousands of them. Many times I get stuck with
the annoying, acess denied, or read-write, pop-
ups that stop the deletion. Is there a way or
program that will allow me to delete a complete
directory without stopping? Maybe it can skip
the errors and list them at the end?
