Deleting gmail, but have access to shared docs on drive

Good Afternoon

I’m enquiring about Google Drive shared docs.

I have left a company who uses Google Drive, however I currently have access to 80% of documents.

I want to see if anyone knows, if anyone knows once a gmail account is deleted, can the owners remove me from the document when the email is non-existent
