Dell 1901FP monitor, Power Switch problem

Hi,

I have a Dell 1901FP monitor connected to a Dell Inspiron running Windows XP Pro / SP-3. The power switch (a button with an integrated LED light) recently stuck in the On position. I’m not sure if this is a mechanical or software problem. The on-screen display shows a picture of a large padlock no matter which menu button is pressed. I updated the monitor driver without any noticeable change. I’ll be grateful for any help you can give…
