Dell inspiron LCd problemmmm

I bought a new Lcd Wxga for my dell inspiron 6000 when I installed this to my labtop it did not work thought its faulty i tried to install it on inspiron 6400 dell it worked properly i dunna why plz guys help me out im totally frustrated
