Demoting W2K DC that has E2K on it.

People,

Can someone tell me what the implications might be if we demote a DC to a member server. This server has E2K on it. I have already created anther DC with integrated DNS. I understand that before I demote I must copy the FSMO roles to the new DC.

Has anyone had any experience with something like this? Any thoughts appricated.
