DEP keeps ending my internet explorer

I upgraded to IE8, now the Data Execution Prevention in Windows XP keeps closing my Internet Explorer. the IE does not buffer anything and just closes due to DEP. I have added IE to my ignore list in DEP, but it still keeps on closing.
