Hey all this is my first post. Here’s my situation:
I’m taking over doing master images for my company and it’s a huge mess. Previously we were using DriveImage5.. yes.. I know.. but it seemed to work OK after I made a few changes.
For reasons beyond my control, our management cannot standardize on hardware at all. As of right now, when doing an image refresh I have to update 17 images, both laptops and desktops… and that’s just plain ridiculous. Now the simple solution in my mind is to standardize on hardware… but that’s not going to happen.
Is RIS/WDS the solution I need? I want to make one “master image” and maybe script driver installs or SOMETHING to make my life easier. I currently do unattended/scripted installs and software distribution so I’m familiar with those things but I just need some sort of direction.
