desktop connection

we have a wireless router at home that runs off a DSL and have a desktop pc and laptop connected to it. i haven’t been able to connect to my favorite chatsite with the desktop but can connect with the laptop. after logging into the chat site with desktop, it goes to next page that says: digichat is loading…please wait. but then it just hangs there as tho the site is unavailable or somehow blocked. there is no message that site is full. any suggestions on what might be causing this or if some settings need to be changed in order to access site?
