Determining When Nobody Is Logged In

I work in a decent sized Windows NT domain and I currently have a need to find out when nobody is logged into a machine and it is sitting at the Windows NT Security box. From this point I would be able to remote control the machine and do maintenance while not disturbing the user. If anybody out there could tell me of any way of determining how to do this I would truly appreciate it ! Thanks in advance.
