We are having some problems with one of our DFS links, it appears to be accessible from any server 2003 machine with any login but fails when working from an XP SP3 PC. We have multiple locations that have dfs links to the other office drives (each office having a projects drive and an office drive). One of the locations projects drive is not working from any location bar one. It does not look like a permissions problem as the folder can be accessed via the UNC path and works as long as you are connecting from a server. Also I do not think it is a VPN problem as the other drive at that office is accessable. I would say that it is a problem with the dfs share itself but it has exactly the same settings as the one for the other drive at that location. I’m a bit stumped so any help is appriciated.
