I have created an SMS package to runs NETSH to convert our Windows 2000 and Windows NT4 systems over from static IP to DHCP. The package runs fine and DHCP is enabled but it does not change the following:
WINS tab – ‘Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP’ is selected originally but we would like the ‘Use NetBIOS setting from the DHCP server’ to be checked.
General tab – ‘Use the following DNS server addresses’ is selected originally but we would like the ‘Obtain DNS server address automatically’ to be checked.
Our DHCP Server Options are set for:
006 DNS Servers
015 DNS Domain Name
044 WINS/NBNS Servers
046 WINS/NBT Node Type
How can I get these two items to be selected? or Where in the registry are these two items selected?
Any help would be appreciated.
