Direct Cable Con.- Logon Domain?

What do u enter for a logon domain? the
connection wizard, asks for a password
for the guest (even if no password is
selected on the host cpu) and then asks
for logon domain….the wizard promptly
disconnects after this step. this is a
home enviornment, trying to share files
straight thru, have a parallel pc to pc
cable and one network card. DO i need
two network cards???????? if there is a
way to bypass buying another card,
please tell me ………thanks
