Director of MIS Job Description

I am applying for positon as Director of MIS. Although I’ve been in the IT industry for 15 years and have managed software developers and data centers, I have never held a position with that specific title. What would you say is a generic description of a Director of MIS so I can prepare for the questions that might be asked during an interview?
