Directory security

by bkelley . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

With Windows 2000 pro. is there a way to password protect a directory and or files so that the person loged on has to enter a password in order to open the file. I want to make certain that if someone happens to find my login and password that in order to gain access to certain files they would have to know another password. I thought that I had heard of a registry hack that would enable me to do this without extra software.
