I have a case wich i have not found the solution for.
Here is the problem:
A user Alfa inserts a chart (via insert menu) in word/powerpoint. The font become distorted. It does not look like Arial, and characters overlap. if he edit the chart font looks fine, but when he returns to standard word editing mode. font is distorted again.
winword /a or /safe does not solve the problem.
if he sends me the word document, I too see distorted font when i open the document. If i resize the chart, it instantly appears correct.
Reverse; if I send him a document with a chart I’ve made. it looks fine when he open the document, but resizing the chart results in distorted font again…
Renaming users Normal.dot does not solve the problem.
Changing standard printer does not solve the problem
I’v tried to rename registry key hkcu\software\microsoft\office\11.0\word\resilliency but this does not solve the problem.
He is the only user experiencing this.
