Distrobution Lists not showing in GAL

I am experiancing quite the odd problem. Distrobution lists are not showing up in the global adress list. Most are showing up, but some are not. There is no real pattern as to what will show up, and what will not. It seems though, that when you add a member to a distrobution list, it will then stop appearing in the outlook address list.
