DNS CONFIGURATION ERROR! HELP!!!

by hope . Updated 24 years, 7 months ago

I Installed W2k Advanced Server for web server. During the installation steps, everything was fine. I created a domain, called like microsoft, full domain suffix is domain.microsoft.com.au. A set up an Active Directory with the above domain information(s). When I reached the dns section, I got a message like “no dns server was found containing the -above- domain. Would you like to install it? I selected yes (that’s the recommended option). This completed succesfully, I restarted the machine.
Now I like to register the domain name (I already did that) and now I like to do the name server delegation.
I get this error:

<> is not an authoritative DNS server for microsoft.com.au.
If you wish to use it as a DNS server,
then the DNS administrator of <> needs to configure it
to know about micsrosoft.com.au BEFORE you re-submit this delegation form.

??? So What should I do now? I need to create some aliases in the working lookup zones? I don’t understand, the automatic setup why didn’t do that during active desktop customization “correctly”???

Please HELP!

Waiting for your answer,
H0PE
