DNS or something else??

When I try to connect to certain sites or my dlink router I get the “dreaded white page” (DNS error etc.) and all my settings seem to have altered i. e. my Ip, DNS servers, subnet etc.

I have tried altering them back but then I cannot connect to the web at all. Any body got any ideas plz?

Ps. I use telewest broadband and have tried resetting my router and modem as well as setting up a new network in XP pro.
