Does Matshita DVD-Ram LF-D310 burn DL Disc?

Does Matshita DVD-Ram LF-D310 burn DL Disc?
The software recognizes the disc and sets to DVD9, but will only do 50% of the disc before it faults out. It was my understanding that it would burn DL disc without a problem.
