domain issues

When I remove my workstation from the NT4.0 domain and add it to the WIN200 active directory domain my PC will not boot unless I remove the network cable and boot to the local account and not to the domain. It hangs! When I add the workstation back to the NT4.0 domain the PC boots and loads fine. The OS on the workstation is W2k. Any ideas?
