Domain not available to join.

I am running Win2k advance Server,. The Root server in the domain can’t be seen by the other server in the domain. Also, in MY Network Place I can’t see the root server. Also, went I go to the RUN line and type \\”server name” I get the following error. “The network path was not found.”, and another error I get is as followed, “The network location cannot be reached. For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help.”.
