DRIVE OVERLAY ntldr MISSING

I have just increase my hard drive size from 4GB to 80GB. By using a maxtor dynamic overlay. As the windows xp set up cd does not work with this. I have the 6 floppy disc to boot it all up. I have waited for the overlay to register on the boot up and the message which asks to insert disk and press space. Then nothing happens apart from another message saying NTLDR is missing press ctrl+alt+del to restart. Can anyone help me, please ???
