DSL for Linux

I am running Mandrake 9 on my second hd but i cant figure out where to get a driver for my modem its westel and i connect with verizon the people there told me to look for a program called raspoet but i have been unable to locate it any information about getting my modem working or where raspoet could be found would be cool, thanks in advance
