I have a PentiumIII with two HD’s SCSI where in the first I installed the LINUX and in the second I have a NT 4 Server installed and working. Of course I can change the boot order in the SCSI HD’s by reselecting a new ID by straping the ID of the HDod desired OS as the minor one.
But I’m looking for a way to manage the dual boot whitout the need of straping the HD’s and I prefer to be able to choose the OS to boot with a menu like the NT’s menu or GRUB in LINUX.
I tried to use the NT’s menu to boot but I had the problem to generate the bootsect.lnx when booting in the LINUX because it directs to /dev/sda1 as a bootable partition and when I boot through NT, the LINUX is in the second HD (/dev/sda2).
Does anyone knows how to solve this problem using any kind of boot manager in the LINUX or in the NT?
I’m very gratefull beforehand for the solution
