Dual boot Win2k and Redhat 7.1 on SCSI H

by thaitrinh . Updated 24 years, 8 months ago

Hi,

I’ve been trying to install Linux as a 2nd
OS on my Windows 2000 with no luck at all.
Currently Windows 2000 is on the IDE Drive,
and I want to install Linux on the SCSI
drive. However, during the Linux installation
packages, the machine either reboot or
freeze. I have also reformatted and
repartitioned my drive on numerous of times
and still cannot get it to work.
Please help. Does anyone have any ideas what
I need to do in order to solve this problem?

My computer spec: ASUS MB
AMD K-6 450
64 Meg MEM
15G MAXTOR HDD (runs Win2000 Prof)
9.1G Seagate Wide SCSI HDD (trying to run Linux)
Adaptec 2940W SCSI card
