duo core t2080 1mb cache versus t2250 2 mb cache. which is better?

i dont know which laptop to get.

the t2080 are the following specs
toshiba
15inch
80gig HD
1.7ghz
533 fsb
1mb L2 cache
1gig ram
vistahome

t2250
acer
14 inch
160 gig hd
1.7ghz
533 fsb
2mb L2 cache
1gig ram
vista premium

both are roughly the same price. but isnt the acer with the 2mb L2 cache faster? i dont know how much a difference it makes but i heard vista premium needs at least 2 gig of ram. so it is prob slower to begin with b/c of the operating system. but does the L2 cache make up for it slowness?

ugh. i dont know why the 2 core duos even have a diff L2 cache. i thought they only did it for the celerons versus pentium chips when it comes to having a smaller L2 cache.

help please.
