Anyone out there have a good understanding of Dynamic Disks?
I understand them in windows and cmd (whilst under windows). Have played with RAID etc under 2K and XP.
If you format a disk as FAT32 and convert it to Dynamic, can u still see the disk in MSDOS, eg. booting into Symantec Ghost 7 and capturing an image?
I have a 20GB disk (Dynamic Volume) that has 4 Partitions (XP PRO, 2K PRO, 2KSERV, 2003 SRVR) on it, all fat32 so that when I capture my images i can still add/remove files.
Before I go building my images to the tiniest detail, will Ghost 7 recognise these disks and allow this to happen?
Any feedback apprec.
Ta,
Ian
