Hi all, nothing major this time around just a simple fact of me both misplacing one of my cheat sheets that helps me remember not too often used commands and secondly me just being too darn lazy to search the MS site for it.
What it is has to do with the settings for the role your PC (in this case an NT machine) plays in being a backup or master browser.
Specifically I’m looking for the setting to have the computer not participate at all in browsing. I’m thinking its “maintainserverlist = 0” is this correct?
If its wrong please refresh my memory on the correct setting in the Regestry along with its value to turn off being a browse participant.
(Hey sorry for such an elementary question, but A) You know how it is since your in the IT field too – tons of stuff to remember, and B) its MONDAY…lol)
