Edit EMF (Enhanced Metafile) in PPT 2007

I created illustrated shapes in Adobe Illustrator CS3 and then exported to
EMF to open in PPT 2007. I want to be able to edit the shape as if it were
drawn in PPT. As in color change, edit points etc. I work on both MAC
and PC but I am looking for a universal solution.

Any suggestions?
